Orville Gene Hendryx of Collinsville, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020 in Tulsa. He was 94.

Orville was born on January 14, 1926 in Skiatook, OK to Ord and Bertha (Roam) Hendryx. After high school, he briefly served in the United States Navy. Orville was a United Pentecostal Church Minister and pastored churches in Tulsa, Vinita, Pryor and Mississippi. Outside of ministry, he enjoyed a good day of fishing and working in his garden. Orville will be missed by many.

Orville is survived by his daughter, Ginger Tate and husband Larry of the home; 2 grandchildren, Kristy Verspaget and Rodney Tate; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Juanita Hendryx, and one son, Jerry Hendryx.
