Enid, OK — Graveside services for Ronald H. Rogers, 84, of Broken Arrow, will be Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at Floral Haven Memorial Garden in Broken Arrow. Kennedy-Amis-Kennard Funeral Service of Broken Arrow is in charge of services.
He was born March 13, 1924, in Okmulgee to George and Ruth Landers Rogers and died Oct. 5, 2008, in Broken Arrow. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He played the trombone in the Marine band, sang at revivals and in the choir. He worked as an auto parts salesman and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Enid and the Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was preceded in death by his grandson and wife, Pat.
Survivors include his children, Cheryl Crawford and Randall Rogers; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 831 E. Broadway, Enid.
