Troy Byron McCrary was born August 5, 1927 at Clarendon, TX. He was the son of Earl Byron McCrary and Letha Jane Brewer McCrary. Troy passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008 at his home in Bixby, Oklahoma. He was 81 years of age.

Troy grew up in the West Texas area. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Troy McCrary and Shirley Jeanne Hutson were united in marriage on July 9, 1954 at Leach, Oklahoma. They have celebrated 54 years of marriage. During that time they resided in Catoosa, moving to Bixby in 1968.

Troy was a concrete finisher and ran his own business for the past 50 years. He was a member of Dawson Free Will Baptist Church in Tulsa.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Guy.
