Memorial services for Stan Allen Cearley, 85, of Owasso, were held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Dan Korver officiated.


Stan was born January 20, 1933 in Sapulpa, OK to Mike M. and Eva Doris (Colley) Cearley. He passed away July 10, 2018 in Tulsa, OK.
 

Stan was a Veteran of the US Navy and was a member of the VFW Post 237. He worked for American Airlines as a machinist until his retirement. Stan was a long time member of Dalton Hill Baptist Church in Owasso. He enjoyed hunting, camping in the RV, gardening and fishing. He also loved spending time with his family. and especially enjoyed during family dinners.


He is survived by his son, Timothy Cearley; step-son, Joe Payton and wife Brenda; step-daughter, Wanda Baker and husband James, several grandchildren and their spouses; several great-grandchildren and their spouses; 2 great-great-grandsons; his very dear and close friend, Trudy, and many other relatives and friends.
 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Cearley; a brother; a sister; and a step-son.
