Services for Mildred Brittain, Henryetta resident, were held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at the Henryetta First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Paslay officiating. Interment followed at Bixby Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.

Mildred Harris Fletcher Brittain was born on June 15, 1930 in Russellville, AR to James Fletcher and Rosa Lee (Taylor) Harris and passed away on November 30, 2006 in Tulsa,Ok at the age of 76. She had worked as a cook for the Bixby Café for many years and retired from Flomac Rubber Manufacturing Company. She was a faithful member of the Henryetta First Baptist Church.

She was married to James Brittain and is preceded in death by him on Sept 3, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Sonny, Mack and Judge Harris and two sisters Ruby Harper and Nancy Stiles and a granddaughter: Sandy Laubermilt.

She is survived by sons : Jimmy Brittain and his wife Carolyn Brittain of Muskogee,John Brittain and wife Joyce of Henryetta,James Brittain and wife Kim of Tulsa,Ok Daughters: Merna Tingler and husband Howard of Tulsa,Linda Joiner and husband Jimmy of Haskell,18 Grandchildren 30 Great Grandchildren 11 Great Great Grandchildren Sisters: Juanita Young and Husband Alfred of Haskell,OK,Lucille Watkins of Bixby,Madeline Brown and husband Otis of Bixby,Anna Lee Davis of Spiro Countless Nieces and Nephews.
