He loved to play the guitar, sing Cherokee and Creek Gospel hymns and document the genealogy and history of the Wildcat/Buster family and the Notchietown community.
David can best be remembered as an avid sports fan. He sponsored or coached little league baseball, independent basketball and softball teams, and vollyball teams. Many of his former team members lovingly call him "The Legend" because of his many years of actively playing sports. He was also a dedicated and loyal fan of Sequoyah High School sports team. Most of all, David will be remembered by his family for being a kind, caring, compassionate man. His home and heart was always open to all who needed a friend.
