Leon Davis, Obit

Mr. Leon Davis was born December 18,1942 in Vian, OK the son of Jess Allen Davis and Artie Violet (Hendrix) Davis.

He married Daisy Sue (Toney) Davis on February 23,1963 in Van Buren, AR. He was a truck driver, rock layer and enjoyed chopping cotton in the summer with his kids.

He passed this life on October 29, 2008 in Muskogee, OK.
Graveside service was held Saturday November 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Box Cemetery in Vian, OK.
Services were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK

Survivors are his wife, Cindy of the home, 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Shirlene and Rusty George of Haskell, OK, Jeanene and David Henson of Keefton, OK, and Rhonda and Vic Wiedel of Muskogee, OK, 1 son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Ruth Ann Davis of Porum, OK, 18 grandchildren; Ryan, Amanda, Eric, Robin, Cheyenne, Galen, Kelly, Jessica, Casey, Samantha, David Cheyanna, Deeann, Mitchell, Rachel, EarlDee, Chance, and Victoria, 19 great grandchildren, mother, Artie Davis, 1 sister, Joann Byrd of Porum, OK, 2 brothers; George Davis of Anakarko, OK and John Davis of Porum, OK. A special cousin, Wyatt Harp, and two special friends, Debbie Carter and Genie Powell.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Leisa Davis and his father; Jess Davis.
