CECIL DUNN

Services: Fri., Sept. 12, 2:30 p.m.

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd.,
for Cecil Dunn, 79, who passed away September 6, 2003. Rev. Milt Cole and
the Kern County Veterans Association will officiate.

Mr. Dunn was born on August 2, 1924, in Vian, Oklahoma and resided in Kern
County for 55 years. He worked as a custodian with the Greenfield School
District for 20 years. Mr. Dunn served in the U. S. Army during World War II and
received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.

Mr. Dunn was a husband to Velma Dunn, for 59 years; father to Carolyn Dunn;
grandfather to Jamie Dawson, Carol Dawson and Lindsey Wood; and great
grandfather to Myia Dupree; and a son-in-law and daughter-in-law Richard and Sophia
Dawson. He will be missed by all.

Visitation begins Thursday, 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Friday before services.
