Charles Edward Yancey was born November 6, 1931 in Dequeen, Arkansas the son of Robert and Minnie (Tedford) Yancey.  He was married to Iva Ray Dyer on May 9, 1951 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.  Mr. Yancey passed this life on August 29, 2016 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 84.
 

He leaves to mourn his passing:

Wife: Iva Ray Yancey of the home

2 daughters: Betty Risley of Vian, OK and Patricia Rose of Vian, OK

4 grandchildren: Steven, Tonya, Christie and Zachary

5 great grandchildren

2 sisters: Ruby Suviaz of Bald Knob, AR and Christine Morris of Dierks, AR

2 brothers: Thomas Yancey and wife Martha of Haines City, FL and Larry Yancey and wife Malinda of Bald Knob, AR

numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends


He was preceded in death by 1 grandchild, T.C. Biggerstaff; great granddaughter, Cheyenne Rose; his parents, Robert and Minnie  (Tedford) Yancey; brothers, Bobby, Charles, Billy, John, Paul, Clinnie and Jimmy Yancey; and sister, Betty Coffman.
 

Graveside service is Friday, September 2, 2016 at 2 pm at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow.


Viewing is Thursday 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow.
