Services were held June 25, 1988, at 11:00 a.m. at Agent Chapel, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, for Bert Paul "Red" Bledsoe. He passed away June 23, 1988, in Sallisaw.
He was born July 30, 1919, in LeFlore County, Oklahoma, the son of Sam and Mary (Smith) Bledsoe.
He is survived by his wife, Edith H. Bledsoe; one daughter, Linda Curry, Oklahoma City; five sons, Ed Bledsoe, Oklahoma City, Jim, Jerry, and Rick Bledsoe, all of Sallisaw, and Ronnie Bledsoe, Fort Smith, Arkansas; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Interment was at Buffington Cemetery, west of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw-Muldrow was in charge.
