He was born on November 1, 1962 to Robert Wayne Guy and Sarah Ann (Tuggle) Guy in Joplin, Missouri. Kevin worked as a police officer for Delaware County, and has a long history in law enforcement as it was his passion to serve and protect. Kevin, also had a passion for nature which he enjoyed by exploring, camping, hunting and lots of fishing. Most important to him was spending time with his family and spoiling his grandbabies. Kevin loved his family unconditionally and spoke of them often. He always knew how to make the best of every situation and how to make anybody smile and laugh. Kevin grew up to be a loving, caring, and selfless man that didn't sweat the small things. When he married his angel, Tina Brock on January 22, 2010 Kevin was the happiest he'd been. Tina remembers looking into his eyes and feeling their hearts intertwine. She knew God had a made them for one another. Kevin will also be remembered for loving his daughter, Kryslynn's singing voice, his quirky shenanigans, his love for 80's music, his great sense of humor, the way he became a kid again when his grandbabies came around and the way he cared for everyone he knows.
Kevin is survived by his wife and angel, Tina (Brock) Guy of the home; daughters, Tiffany Guy of Sallisaw, OK, Kryslynn Berryman of Gore, OK, Heather Heeley of Leslie, MO, Chelsea Guy of OKC, OK, and Shawna Guy of Checotah, OK; sons, Kevin Allen Guy of Miami, OK, Jordan Bond of Joplin, MO, Jacob Woods of Claremore, OK, Tyler Woods of Gore, OK, and John Kelly of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Aleyah Guy, Michael Pollard, Aiden Kelly, Ellina Rutherford, Jacobie Woods, Viktor Guy and Karlie Guy; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Rhonda Guy; nephew, Robert Guy, Jr. all of Neosho, MO; and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of Kevin's life will be 1PM, Monday, June 1, 2020 at Box Cemetery in Vian, OK with Chaplain Bill Crow officiating. Pallbearers will be Jacob Woods, Tyler Woods, Chris Davis, Robert Guy, Sr., Robert Bowman and Robert Guy, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Garner, Ralph Feather Zhan Snider and John Kelly.
Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1830 North York St, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
