Clayton Joe Nofire, son of Abel Nofire and Lucille (Proctor) Nofire was born September 15, 1955 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 7, 2018 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years.
 

He had a great love for race cars and really enjoyed watching the races. He also loved fishing and Arkansas Razorbacks football.


Clayton was preceded in death by his father, Abel Nofire, siblings, Floyd and William Nofire.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife, Carol Daniels of Kansas, Okla. 4 children; Jennifer Nofire, Christopher Nofire and wife Talesa all of DeQueen, Ark., Stefanie Nofire and husband Dustin Bluebird of Kansas, Skylar Nofire of Tahlequah, mom, Lucille (Proctor) Nofire of Nicut; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Siblings Benny Nofire of Muldrow, Leon Nofire of Nicut, Jody Nofire and Ruby Holt both of Roland,, Rosa Rowe of Nicut, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
 

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Belfonte Church with Bro. Levi Eagle officiating.
 

Interment followed at Belfonte Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell.
