Helen Bernice (Slay) Gillham was born on Dec. 31, 1962, in Thomas, Okla., and departed this life on Sunday, March 8, 2009, in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, at the age of 46.
Helen, was a resident of Tecumseh where she worked as an LPN at Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center (COJC).

She married Charles Donald "Don" Gillham, Jr., on June 11, 1993 in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Her grandmother, Florence Hartvel, and father-in-law, Charles D. Gillham, Sr., preceded Helen in death.

Survivors include her husband, Don Gillham, Jr., of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Chastidy and Mike Harruff of Panama City, FL; Catrine Gillham of the home; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Gillham of Prague; grandchildren, Kylie Dawn and Addison Jo Harruff of Panama City, FL; sister-in-law, Gwynell Price of Prague; nephews, Michael Price of Prague and Jerad Gillham and his wife, Michelle, of Prague; and Great nephew, Kendal Gillham of Prague.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM, at the Free Will Baptist Church in Prague with Rev. Randall Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Wolf Cemetery in Seminole County. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague. A guest book is available to share your memories on-line
