Services for Eric Vincent, 62, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at The Refuge Church, Rev. Ron Vansell will officiate. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Mr. Vincent passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at an Ada hospital. He was born June 24, 1954 in Ada to Rev. Edward L. and Arbelane Simpson Vincent. He graduated from Ada High School and also attended college.

He married Sherre Lynn Sexton. She preceded him in death January 8, 2015. Mr. Vincent was a Sergeant with the Department of Corrections until his retirement. He was a member of Rose Hill Church near Lexington, where he also pastored part-time. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his children, Erica Vincent of Oklahoma City, Keydrick Stevenson of Sherman, TX, Chelle McDonald of Choctaw, Melissa Rogers of Ada and Jamie Eaker of Brooklyn, MI; four brothers, Donald Vincent and wife Wendy of Grover Beach, CA, Edward Vincent, Jr. and wife Deondra of Ft. Worth, TX, Bruce Boone of Tishomingo and Mark Vincent of Houston, TX; two sisters, Tracy Chiles and husband Marvin of Ada and Chauntel Vincent of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Bearers will be Tommy Sexton, Butch Wedel, T. C. Hill, Lester Albert, Bruce Boone and R. L. Harper, Jr.
