June M. Johnson-Wells died at Northwest Medical Center on Sunday, March 23, 2003, at age 72.
Born March 30, 1930, in Konawa, Okla., Mrs. Johnson-Wells was the daughter of Albert and Effie Walker Collins. She was a district sales manager for avon for 16 years in Solano and Yolo Counties. She was a member of Oakley Chapel Methodist Church in Rogers.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Wells; daughters, Carla Pevehouse of Fayetteville and Keneta Sanchez of Roseville; sister, Mary Elizabeth Irby of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Michael McCaskey, Mindy Regan and Jessica Sanchez, all of Roseville, and Tommy Pevehouse and Katie Pevehouse, both of Fayetteville; and great-grandchildren, Michael John Regan III, Ashley Douglas, Ryan Douglas and Dylan Faucett, all of Roseville. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Kenneth Johnson.
The family requests memorials be directed to Susan G. Komen, Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, Texas 75244.
Arrangements are under the directions of Moore's Chapel of Arkansas.
Services: The family will greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 26, at Moore's Chapel, 206 W. Center St., Fayetteville, Ark. 72701. There is a service scheduled at 11:30 Thursday, March 27, also at Moore's Chapel with Pastor Jack Schaible officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
