Wewoka ok —
Wewoka resident Sasha Nedeljkovic passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Sasha was born on January 17, 1974 in Kragujevac Serbia to Bozidar and Mirjana Nedeljkovic. Sasha came to Wewoka his senior year in High school as a Foreign Exchange Student where he graduated with the Class of 199 3. He became a beloved friend, son, brother, and uncle to his host parents Dr. Glenn and wife Frankie Crowson and their family during the seven-teen years he spent with them.
Sasha graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Bio Chemistry and was working as a MWD computer operator in the oil industry for Drill Right Technology. Sasha enjoyed and was an avid fisherman and loved teaching his fishing skills to children, he also enjoyed drag racing and playing golf, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his parents and sister Irena Nedeljkovic of Kragujevac Serbia; brothers Vlada and Bojan Milenkovic of Edmond PK, host parents Dr. Glenn and wife Frankie Crowson of Wewoka; brothers, Chris and wife Misty Crowson of Wewoka; Ryan and wife Tammy Crowson of Harrah, Ok; Craig Crowson of Wewoka, Allen Hanson of Denmark; Sisters, Carla Crowson of Choctaw, Oklahoma; Nicole Crowson of Wewoka, Oklahoma; special nieces and nephews; Lucas and Tatum Rollins, Joseph, Aaron, and Thomas Tucker, Austin, Kennedy, Tyler, Bradey, and Carver Crowson; Britanie and Taveon Hobgood. Sasha will be forever missed by all who knew him.
Pallbearers are Mike Black, Brad Huser, Bryan Campbell, Ryan Sosbee, Vlada and Bojan Milenkovic, Allan Hansen, Craig Crowson, Ryan Crowson, and Chris Crowson
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established at First National Bank in Wewoka, under the Sasha Nedeljovic family.
Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday Dec. 11, 2008 at20First Baptist Church of Wewoka under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka. Burial will follow at a later date in Kragujevac, Serbia.
