DOROTHY MARIE HYATT Services: Sat, Feb. 7, 10 a.m.
Memorial services will be held at Rosedale Praise Center, 2408 Allen Rd., on Saturday, February 7, 2004, 10:00 a.m., for Dorothy Marie Hyatt, 83, who passed away in Pleasant Care Convalescent Hospital on January 31, 2004.
Dorothy was born July 9, 1920, in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was the 6th child of seven born to Richard Cleveland Estep and Classie M. LeGrand Estep. Dorothy married her lifelong friend and childhood sweetheart, Carl Hyatt, on June 15, 1936, and they had three children, Patricia, Donald and Billy. Dorothy worked in the fields, meat dept., as a grocery clerk and her last job was at Goodwill where she was the Assistant Manager. Dorothy was a Sunday School teacher for many years at Rosedale Full Gospel Church. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Pat Standridge and her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Leota Hyatt. Dorothy had 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Josephine Estep, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Ida Hyatt and many nieces and nephews and 4 sisters-in-law. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hyatt, son, Donald Hyatt, son-in-law, Lowell Standridge, great grandson, Joseph Hyatt, great granddaughter, Charlie Hughes and great grandson, Michael Worley. Dorothy is gone now but will always be remembered by those who loved her and knew her.
