ODELL DRYDEN KYMES
March 30, 1914 - November 18, 2006

Funeral services for Odell Dryden Kymes, 92-year-old Woodward resident, will be Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the graveside in the Little Cemetery at Seminole, Okla. The Rev. Andy Young will officiate. Arrangements are by Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Woodward.
Odell Dryden Kymes was born March 30, 1914 in Okemah, Okla., to Ike and Roxie (Orr) Eidson. She grew up in the Okemah area and in 1934 was married to Oather James Dryden. They made their home in Cromwell and later, Wewoka, Okla. Mr. Dryden died in 1972 and in 1984 Odell was married to Harrison Kymes. They continued to reside in Wewoka. Mr. Kymes died in 1990; two years later Odell made her home in Woodward to be near her sons.
Odell attended the Assembly of God Church in Woodward. She was known for her love for and excellence in cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Harold and Leah Dryden and Joe and Sandy Dryden, all of Woodward; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and other relatives.
