JOAN KINSLOW
Services: Mon., Mar. 3, 2 p.m.

Joan Kinslow departed this life Thursday, February 28, 2008, in Seminole at the age of 76. She was born April 3, 1931, in Byers, Oklahoma, the daughter of L. D. and Lena (Dollar) Walker. She was a long-time resident of the Prague and Seminole area. She graduated from Southeastern State University with a BBA. Joan and Matt Kinslow were married March 21, 1953, in Oklahoma City.

They moved to the Prague and Seminole area in 1969. Joan and Matt were partners in the Kinslow Sonic Group operating Sonics in Oklahoma, Texas and Mississippi. They also owned and operated the Catfish Roundup at I-40 and Highway 99, and the operations of the 5K Ranch. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Starr, a PEO with Chapter AF in Prague, and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Seminole. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Matt Kinslow, of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary W. and Debra Kinslow of Prague, Larry and Rhonda Kinslow of Seminole; daughter, Terry Wegley of Kellyville; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Jackie Walker of Minco; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Jim Heartsill of Oklahoma City, Shirley and Jerry Roberts of Brownwood, Texas; grandchildren, Ryan Van Meter, Chris Van Meter, Morgan Wegley, Matt Kinslow and his wife Kim, Brooke Kinslow Case and her husband Brett, Kelli Johnson and her husband Bill Cody, Mandy Root, Jessica Kinslow, Lauren Root, Clinton Kinslow; great-grandchildren, Captain Van Meter, Kyle Kinslow, Hayden Kinslow, Jaycee Johnson, Lillie Johnson, Kelby Vass.

Funeral Service was 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Internment followed at Little Cemetery in Seminole County.
