Loving father, grandfather, and brother, Tommy G. Hasbell, 66, passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009.
He was born June 26, 1942 to Albert and Viola (Hayes) Hasbell. Tommy worked for TDK as a maintenance mechanic and retired from there after 23 years. In his free tiem, he enjoyed painting, going to the lake and fishing. His joy
in life was his family and his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cookie Hasbell; two children, Tommy Gene Hasbell and Jeanette Hasbell; siblings, Shirley McFarland, Roy Hasbell and Beverly Yonnes.
Those left to cherish their memories are his children; Herbert Hasbell of Garland, Texas, Ricky Hasbell and wife Shonda of Kaughman, Texas, and Nina Cotner and husband Kenny of Asher; siblings, Albert Hasbell, Lorene Cummings, Delores Hasbell, Walter Hayes, Roy Hayes, Donny Hayes, Kathy Upton, Bobby Hasbell and Herbert Hasbell; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, other family and friends.
Services will be 2pm Saturday Jan. 17 2009 at Resthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow at Little Cemetery.
