William B. "Bill" Wright

Funeral services were held Monday, January 19, 1976, for William B. "Bill" Wright in the Reydon Community Building with Rev. Eddie Overstreet officiating.

William B. "Bill" Wright was born December 31, 1908, at Rankin and has lived all of his life in Roger Mills county except for a few years in Oregon and Washington.

May 3, 1952, he married Ella Swopes Gray at Pampa, Texas and they lived in Washington and Spearman, Texas before moving back to Reydon in 1967 to make their home.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Spearman, Texas.

His mother, four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife Ella of the home; his father, Hoy L. Wright, of Cheyenne; two sons, Roy Gene Wright of Norman, Oklahoma; Jimmy Wright of Portland, Oregon; one stepson I. V. Gray of Pacifica, California; three step daughters, Gwendolyn Rose of Battle Ground, Washington; Norma Mabra of Pacific, Washington; Willie Lane of Amarillo, Texas; nineteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Goldie Ingerson of Reydon; three brothers, Mike Wright of Cheyenne; and Jack Wright and Raymond Wright, both of Reydon, Oklahoma.

Interment was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne.
