Asa Ruben Wright of Reydon died Friday, October 15, 1965, at the Cheyenne Hospital after a short illness.

Services were held Sunday afternoon in the Reydon community building with Rev. Howard Nipper and Rev. Lynn Heard of Sayre officiating.

Mr. Wright was born May 22, 1886 at El Dorado, Kansas and was married July 3, 1907 to Josie Lee Burgess.

He came to Reydon in 1908 and has lived in the community since that time.

Survivors are his wife Josie of Reydon; two daughters, Mrs. Dora Barker and Mrs. Mable Arnold, both of Reydon; one brother, H. L. Wright of Reydon; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Interment was in the White Rose cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son Funeral Home in charge.

Relatives from a distance to attend services were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wright of Spearman, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wright and family from Amarillo; Mr. and Mrs. Pascal Pennington and family of Borger, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Strickland of Durham; Mrs Lee Airington and Mr. and Mrs. Kenny King of Pampa; Mr. and Mrs. Charley Kenner of Edmond; Mr. and Mrs. Marion Stein of Plainview; and Mrs. Octavia Eggen of Enid.
