Anthony Wayne Porter affectionally known as "Tony" was born November 20, 1986 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Billy Wayne and Donna Joy Porter. He passed away January 25, 2005 at his home south of Reydon, Oklahoma at the age of 18 years, 2 months and 5 days.

At the early age of three weeks Tony underwent open heart surgery and at ten months a beautiful bright-eyed boy underwent open heart surgery again. Things didn't go so well with this surgery. A severe stroke took Tony's sight and speech, but left a little boy who loved everyone.

Tony attended Apple Dumplin Pre-School at Sayre.

He spent one month each summer for four years at the Parkview School for the blind in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Tony attended twelve years of school at Reydon. His favorite things were listening to music, going to school, riding the tractor with his dad, playing and riding the go cart with his sisters, being read to by his mom, and going to grandma's.

He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal great grandparents.

Tony is survived by his parents, Billy and Donna Porter, of the home; two sisters, Christina Hope and Gina Reanna; grandparents, J. T. and Evelyn Porter, Reydon, Oklahoma; and Lafayette and Dessie McClellan, Roll, Oklahoma; one special cousin, Lisa Roane of Porter, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were January 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Reydon Community Building officiated by Fred Riley and Dr. John Hubanks.
