Mrs. Gladys Ninetta Reynolds Doty

Mrs. Gladys Ninetta Reynolds Doty passed away suddenly at her home in Reydon on Mary 16, 1960.

Rev. Lynn Heard a former pastor of Reydon, and Rev. Carl Shelton conducted the funeral services in the Community building on May 19, 1960.

Committal was in the White Rose cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Moore Funeral Home.

Glayds Ninetta Doty was the daughter of the late Vernon and Eva Reynolds, and was born January 11, 1896 in River Falls, Wisconsin.

She departed this life on Monda,y May 16, 1960 after several months of illness, at the age of 64 years, four months and five days.

At the age of 12 years she moved with her parents to Edmond, Oklahoma and in 1914 the family moved to Rankin, Oklahoma.

She was united in marriage to Charles A. Doty, June 9, 1917 at Oklahoma City. To this union two children were born, Vernon E. Doty of Herlong, California; and Naomi J. Smith of Langon, Germany.

Her parents and one brother preceded her in death.

She leaves her husband, Charles A. Doty of the home address; her two children, Vernon and Naomi; three grandchildren, Vernon and Vicki Smith and Janice Doty; two sisters and three brothers, Edith Conrad and L. L. "Chuck" Reynolds of Reydon; Alberta Beierschmitt of Elk City; Marion and Marvin Reynolds of Liberal, Missouri; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was a loving and devoted mother and wife, and always thought of others first. In sickness or need she was ever there and ready to help.

She was loved by all who knew her.
