Christeen L. Ricks Cole was born September 18, 1909 in Kemp, Texas to Naomi Ettielee Brown and Homer Vernon Ricks and passed away December 5, 1998 in the Sunrise Rehab and Convalescent Center at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 17 days.

Christeen L. Ricks married Jesse Theodore Cole on January 14, 1927 in the home of T. G. Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Jack Martin Cole; and one granddaughter.

She is survived by one son and daughter in law, Pete and Ann Cole of Wheeler, Texas; one daughter and son in law, Vonnie and James Harris of Shamrock, Texas; one daughter in law, Catherine Cole Brown of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; four great granddaughters; eight brothers and sisters, Joseph Ricks, H. O. Ricks, Bill Jack Ricks, Homer Ricks, Pat Ricks, Rosalee Pepper, Darlene Gauthien and Dorothy Mae Comiskey; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 1998 at the White Rose Cemetery officiated by Rev. Alberta Helton.

Interment was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
