Gary Lee Beals

Gary Lee Beals was born May 2, 1949 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Joyce Maxine and Loyd Andrew Beals and passed away July 16, 1998 in the Deaconess Hospital at the age of 49 years, 2 months and 14 days.

Gary graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1967 and married Pam Ewer on Mary 25, 1967 in Bulo, Oklahoma.

They lived in Friona and Dallas, Texas before moving to Sayre and later to Dumas, Texas. In 1974 they moved to the Reydon community to make their home.

Gary loved his ranching, hunting, fishing and enjoyed roping with friends. Gary was always helping his friends whenever they needed help. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be loved and missed by his family and friends forever.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Pam, of the home; two daughters, Lorie Cavazos and Gwenda Beals, both of Cheyenne; his parents, Loyd and Joyce Beals of Sweetwater, Oklahoma; one sister, Wanda Looper of Edmond, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Jessica, Anthony, Samantha, Makala, Ty and Cody; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held in the Reydon Community Building, Saturday July 18, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. with Don Stark and Jay Eckhart officiating.

Interment in White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.

Pallbearers were Steve Leonard, Ray Hughes, Jackie Couch, Joe Yowell, Gale Bert Parman, Les Kendall, Jeff Yowell, Tony Sumpter Johnny Wayne Tennery, Loyd Crabb, Robert Barton and William Daniels.

Honorary pallbearers were Steve Kelley, Bobby Kelley, Don McEntire, Hugh Couch, Benny Couch, Kenneth Barnes, Jim Yell, Terry Beals, Lonnie Beals and Danny Sprowls.
