Rena McClellan was born June 7, 1921 in Strong City, Oklahoma to Minnie A. and George W. Hill. She passed away August 21, 2009 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years, 2 months and 14 days.

Rena grew up and attended school in Strong City, Oklahoma. After graduation she remained at home with her parents to care for them. Rena was married to Clyde McClellan and they made their home in Cheyenne.

Rena was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time on the front porch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son, Christopher McClellan, 1 daughter, Evelyn Berry.

She is survived by her daughter, Ramona McClellan, Elk City, Oklahoma; 1 son, Harold McClellan, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 1 granddaughter, Stephanie James and husband, Rodney, Seymour, Texas; 2 great grandchildren, Ashley and Jessica James, both of Seymour, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2009 a 10:00 am at Strong City Cemetery officiated by Juanice Parkhurst.

Burial will be at Strong City Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
