Reba Fae Davis

May Day 1955, brought forth that hope of new life. Bright and early on May the second that rose bud burst forth in full bloom with the birth of Reba Fae Davis, who loved and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Reba was so sincere in all her undertakings.

So she was, when she stepped down the aisle accepting Christ as her Savior in the fall of 1965. Following behind here were six other children, those were the ones, she helped lead to a new life in her short time on this earth.

Reba enjoyed her Tom-boy life, which she truly was, to the fullest.

Her happiest times came when she was driving the tractor for her Daddy. She did so enjoy the role as forward on the Pee Wee team; though her wins were few, to her, they were all champions.

Nothing pleased her more than at the close of day to challenge one of her brothers to a wrestle, which she was very apt to come out winner.

Her wants for material things of this earth were so few; she was always satisfied. When she would receive her allowance at the end of the week, she would have most of that of the previous week left. That was her saving nature.

That rose withered on April 1, 1967, just 11 years, 11 months after it bloomed when she answered her Savior's call, "Come Home", just as she obeyed her earthly Father when he called her to do something.

Reba leaves her mother and father, Nelda and Weldon Davis; brothers Tom and Jim; and sister, Linda.

She met her brother Billy when she reached heaven. Others she left behind to mourn are her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Boswell and Mrs. Bernice Davis and a host of aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly.
