Homer Russell Cooper

Homer Russell Cooper was born March 27, 1904 in the Cheyenne vicinity. He departed this life Thursday, July 20, 1972 in his home in Cheyenne at the age of 68 years, 3 months, and 23 days.

Mr. Cooper grew up in the Cheyenne and Strong City areas.

He was occupied for several years in farming and construction work.

He lived for sometime in California, and in Lubbock, Texas. Afterward he moved back to Cheyenne, and continued residence here until his death.

Interment was in the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.

Survivors are one brother, Lester Cooper of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Horton of Bakersfield, California; and Mrs. Everett Thompson of Fresno, California.
