Services were held in the Baptist Church of Cheyenne Sunday for Mrs. Olive V. Caudle who died Thursday January 12, 1961. Rev. Clayton Hughes and Rev. A.L. Martin officiated. Mrs Caudle was born August 19, 1875 in Kamberlin County, Missouri. She was married to James C. Caudle in 1893. They came to Roger Mills County Oklahoma from Texas in 1920.
She had been a member of the Methodist church for fifty years.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Flemmin, Claremore, Oklahoma; Mrs. Effie Forrest, Dumas, Texas; Mrs. Millie Duke, Dumas, Texas; and Mrs. Cordelia Archer of Strong City; five sons, Tillman, Sacramento; William H., Strong City; Paul of Sentinel, James of Sunray, Texas and Willard of Cheyenne; three sisters survive. They are Mrs. Hannah Walker, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Emma Williams, Bell, California; and Mrs. Vina Depue, Oklahoma City.
Committal was in the Strong City cemetery under the direction of Scroggins of Cheyenne.
