Willie Etta Linville

Funeral services for Willie Etta Linville will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at 2 p.m. from the Fuirst Baptist Church of Elk City with Dr. Russell Duck officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City.
Willie Etta Linville was born September 14, 1911 at Sneedsville, Tennessee to A.L. and Nancy E. Drinnon Trent and died Monday November 3, 2003 at the age of 92.
She came to western Oklahoma with her family when she was a teenager. She was married to Howard Elliott and after his death she was married to Manuel Linville. When Manuel died she moved to Elk City, in the mid 1970's where she has lived since.
Willie was a farmers wife and homemaker and also worked at the C.R. Anthony Co.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elk City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; one brother, Gale Trent; and four sisters, Bonnie Trent, Victoria Elliott, Edna Mae Rogers and Della Elliott.
Survivors include a sister, Edith Ashley and husband, Martin of Elk City; a brother, Dale Trent and wife, Eudora of Elk City; a stepson, Elmer Linville and wife, Lois of Hammon, and several nieces, nephews and other family.
