Mrs. Mollie R. Rose of Strong City, died Wednesday, December 28, 1960 at the Cheyenne hospital.
Services were held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Strong City Baptist Church with Rev. Dlyde Denny and Rev. Aubrey Cowan officiating.
Mollie was born November 6, 1876 at Walnut Hill, Arkansas to Malinda Ann Bone and Robert A. King.
She was married December 19, 1902 to John R. Rose at Arapaho, Oklahoma. In 1896 they moved to Custer county and in 1912 to Roger Mills county.
She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors are one son, Jack R. Rose of Strong City; three daughters, Elizabeth Roberts of Pueblo, Colorado; Mary Alice Thomas of Strong City; and Katherine Switzer of Leedey, Oklahoma; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
Pall bearers were Roy Hay, Fray Young, John Switzer, Delbert Myers, Haskell Webb and Jim Hendershot.
Committal was in the Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins funeral home in charge.
