Burial services were conducted Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Sallie Jane Jones Reynolds, Elk City, in Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, after services in the Baptist church in Elk City, conducted by Rev. H. L. Janes.
Mrs. Sallie Jane Reynolds, 70 years, died at her home at 621 W. 7th, in Elk City, Oklahoma Sunday morning after a long illness.
Mrs. Reynolds came to the Hammon community in 1890.
She was married to H. W. Reynolds in 1907.
She moved from Hammon to Elk City in 1938.
Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband on March 6 of this year.
Survivors include her son, Sylvester of San Antonio, Texas; four daughters, Nettie Culither and Vita Bashman of Ft. Worth, Texas; Myrtle Gresham of Oklahoma City; Thelma Reynolds of the home address; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
