Services for Mrs. Isabel Wallace Pitcock were conducted at the Assembly of God church at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 1950. Rev M. I. Pierce, pastor of the church officiated.
Burial was in Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Casket bearers were Floyd Holder, Floyd Malson, Frank Hutson, Allen Jeffrey, Clyde Stewart and Oran Burrows.
Isabel Wallace, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Wallace was born in Texas on January 25, 1880, and departed this life at her home in Hammon, Oklahoma, on December 28, 1950, at the age of 70 years 11 months and 3 days.
She was united in marriage to Stephen Aaron Pitcock on November 20, 1907 at Canadian, Texas. To this union were born four girls, Ora, Frances, Julia and Ethel; and five boys, Fred, Clarence, Wallace, C. D. and Austin. The latter preceded her in death.
Mrs. Pitcock was a member of the Assembly of God church, and was very faithful in her Christian work.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, S. A. Pitcock; four daughters, Mrs. Ora Wessberry of Duncan, Oklahoma; Frances Parkhurst and Julia Blaylock of Hammon, Oklahoma; and Ethel Stamper of Pampa, Texas; four sons, Fred and Wallace of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Clarence and C. D. of Hammon, Oklahoma; two sisters, Julia Pitcock of Duncan, Oklahoma; and Dollie Morgan of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; one brother, Ed Wallace of New Mexico; eighteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; as well as other relatives anfd friends.
