Funeral services for Jessie W. Parker, 81, resident north of Hammon, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family residence with W. R. Trent officiating.
Mr. Parker has made his home with his children for some time and had been living near Hammon for the past year at the time of his death Wednesday December 30, 1931.
He was born May 1, 1850 in Tennessee.
Surviving the aged man are six children, Delice Armstrong and Minnie Dixon, both of Hammon; Mammie Ewing of Throckmorton, Texas; William Parker of Hall, Texas; Charlie Parker of Briscoe, Texas; and Johnnie Parker, of Olney, Texas; as well as other relatives and friends.
Interment was made in the Red Hill cemetery, Killough-Hullum, funeral directors of this city, were in charge.
