Graveside services for Mattie Bell Tice, 86, of Stillwater will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2005 at the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Mr. Warren Norris a son-in-law will preside. Visitation will be on Tuesday and Wednesday until 8:00 p.m. at the Palmer Marler Crberry Funeral Home (5106 N. Washington St.) in Stillwater.

Mattie was born July 4, 1919 in Dorchester, Texas to David Crockett and Nannie Bell Brooks Threlkeld. She was married to Leonard Tice on May 2, 1935 in Clayton, New Mexico. Mrs. Tice was a homemaker and also worked for 20 years as a Nursing Assistant. Mrs. Tice was a member of the Assemblies of God Church for 54 years.

Mrs. Tice died on Monday, October 3, 2005 at the Stillwater Medical Center.

Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Gregory of Reydon, Oklahoma, Janice Norris of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Glenda Earle of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, thirteen great grandchildren ande four great great grandchildren.

Mrsw. Tice was preceded by her parents, husband, and one daughter and by two brothers.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home of Stillwater.
