William Dana Kendall, 82, died May 5, 1998 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Mariline Chaffin Kendall; four daughters, Dana Kendall and Ronald I. Feldman of Chattanooga; Martine Kendall and James P. Saunders of Nashville; Jane Chaffin Kendall and G. Rankin Coble Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina; Ellen Marie Kendall and Paul B. Troy of Memphis; five grandchildren, Dana Marchille and Michael Jones of Portland, Oregon; Elizabeth Hile Kelly {Clinton} of Hendersonville; Emily Katherine Feldman of Nashville; Laura Bobbins Feldman of Wellesley, Massachusetts; and Daniel Kendall Trow of Memphis; one great grandchild, Carter Leland Jones; four step grandchildren, W. Randolph and Joanne Saunders of Detroit; Charles Kendall and Chris Saunders of Kansas City; Amy Saunders and Patrick Currian of Baltimore; Leigh Saunders and Stephen Oates of Atlanta; and seven great grandchildren.

Memorial services May 9, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. Westminister Presbyterian Church.

Visitation at Westminister Parlors beginning at 12:30 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, make contributions to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St. 3720; or charity of your choice.
