Roy Allen Brinkley was born on January 17, 1929 in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, and departed this life May 10, 1941 at Raton, New Mexico at the age of 12 years, 3 months and 23 days.

He was laid to rest in the cemetery at Raton, New Mexico, May 11, 1941.

Roy was one of twins, his mother died soon after the birth and Roy's twin brother died soon after his mother's death.

Others preceding him in death were twin sisters and one brother, all dying in infancy.

Roy leaves to mourn his going his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. John Brinkley; two brothers, Elmer and John Jr.; three sisters, Mildred, Gladys and Irene; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rogers and Mrs. S. E. Brinkley; nine uncles and aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was loved by one and all and he was always so sweet and kind and bore his pain and agony with a smile and never complained of his misery.
