Muriel Kendall Adams, daughter of Earnest and Cletice Prestridge Kendall was born September 22, 1915 at Strong City, Oklahoma, and passed from this life Wednesday, June 17, 1998 at Fresno, California at the age of 82.

She grew up and graduated from Strong City High School.

She was employed by Reynolds Mercantile in Cheyenne, Oklahoma and was manager of the Credit Union in Elk City.

She was united in marriage to Lester Adams in Cheyenne, Oklahoma June 15, 1936.

After he was discharged from the Army in 1945 they moved to California. To this union was born one son, Tommy Dwayne and one daughter, Donna.

She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She served as President of California Women Business and Professional Organizations.

She was employed by the State of California for thirty years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Lester of the home in Fresno, California; one son Tommy and his wife, Myrtle of Sacramento, California; one daughter Donna Hall; two grandchildren, Karen and Erick Hall; one great grandchild Christian David Hall; three sisters, Florence Gray of Woodward, Oklahoma; Dorothy Summit of Oklahoma City; and Louise Greteman of Roswell, New Mexico; two brothers, Elwin Kendall of Lodi, California; and Jack Kendall of Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Services were at Baptist Tabernacle in Fresno, California and Interment in Fresno, California.
