"Kiowa News Items"
The announcement of the death of Mrs. Ruth Chambers Bullard was received here Monday morning. Ruth was born in this vicinity where she grew to womanhood and married. They resided in Hammon and Sandstone Communities for a time. She was born January 17, 1897; died January 9, 1965, at Los Cruces, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee bullard, and two daughters. She is survived by four sisters; Grace Barnes, Elk City, Willie Barnes, LeHigh, Chessie Frisbie and Ollie Flynt, Amarillo, Texas.
Ruth was a pupil of this correspondent in 1911-1912 at Sandstone School. (May Lacey, Correspondent)
