Last Rites Set For Jim Hill
Services for Jim Hill, who died in Community Hospital Saturday, November 22, 1975 were held Monday, November at 2 p.m. in the Elk City Assembly of God Church with Reverend Curtin Newton officiating.
Mr. Hill was born July 2, 1897 in Pauls Valley, I. T.
An Elk City resident and retired painter, Hill is survived by his wife Lilly of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Bangle of Victoria, California and Mrs. G. E. Allen of Amarillo, Texas; three sons, H. M. Hill of Bell, California; Don Hill of Hooker, Oklahoma and Jimmy Hill of Palo Alto, California; one sister Mrs. Viola Edmond of Keyes, California.
Burial was held in the Kiowa Cemetery near Hammon.
Note: For other members of this Hill family see Lula Urquhart, Jaunita Potts, and Ruth A. Frost. No relationship is known to exist between this Hill family and that of the E. R. Hill family nor the John Hill family who are also buried in this cemetery.
