The Alonzo Perry Family

The Alonzo Perry family came to Roger Mills county when Alonzo filed for homestead 21 November 1900 in Section 31, Township 13 North, Range 21 West of the Indian Meridian.

Alonzo Perry was born 3 March 1869, son of Oliver Hazard Perry and Susan A. Meadows. He was married 20 October 1887 in Stephens County, Texas to Elizabeth Jane Hodges, daughter of Riley J. Hodges.

Known children born to this union:

Riley who died as a young man
William Arthur who married Doney ?
George Wesley who married Meda Damron

Alonzo Perry died 3 April 1930 and is interred in Kiowa Cemetery with son Riley. Also interred at Kiowa Cemetery are:

Violet Perry, dau of George and Meda Perry
Infant son of George and Meda Perry
Evelyn Perry, daughter of Vla Perry and Ruby Olive Pharr.

Elizabeth Jane (Hodges) Perry is buried at Spur, Texas as well as sons William A. and George W. Perry.
