Nellie Roberson

Miss Nellie Roberson was born in Linneous, Missouri, September 22, 1881 and departed this life April 14, 1944 at the age of 62 years, seven months and two days after a long illness.
She was converted at an early age and united with the Christian church.
The family moved to eastern Oklahoma in 1890 where she resided until 1903, when she moved to Roger Mills County with her brother Clyde.
She is survived by two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Etha McInturff of Omak, Washington; Mrs. Bessie Boulware of Mustang, Oklahoma; Harvey Roberson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Clyde Roberson of Reydon, Oklahoma; and Guy Roberson.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 20, 1944 at the Dempsey school house at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Walker Ferguson of the Methodist church at Cheyenne officiating.
Interment was in the Dempsey cemetery, Dempsey, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
