Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday for Mrs. Sarah L. Prescott, 86-year-old Grimes resident, who succumbed Saturday night, December 4, 1938 in a hospital at Ft. Supply.
The services were conducted at Sunny Point with Rev. L .F. Lancaster officiating.
Mrs. Prescott was born on December 31, 1851, and had been a resident of the Grimes community for the past 22 years.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lola Fisher of Graham, Texas; Mrs. Dee Crabb of Lawton; Mrs. Mary Butler of Fort Worth; and four sons, Charles of Shamrock; Frank of Muleshoe, Texas; Edgar of Pampa; and Donnie of Supply; as well as other relatives and friends.
Interment was made at the Dempsey cemetery by the Moore Funeral Home.
