Dorothy Brown Brothers

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 11, 1978 in the Rose Chapel for Dorothy Brown Brothers with Rev. Gilbert Brothers officiating.
Dorothy was born February 18, 1912 at Mayfield, Oklahoma and passed away, in the Sayre Hospital after and extended illness on July 9, 1978.
She attended school at Pleasant Valley, New Liberty, Berlin and Grimes.
On July 10, 1932 she married Everett Brothers at Hammon and they lived in the Grimes and Dempsey Community until moving to Sayre in 1972 to make their home.
She has been a member of the Baptist Church since 1927.
Preceding her in death were her father, Warner A. Brown and two brothers, Jesse and Ira.
Survivors are her husband, Everett of the home; one daughter, Betty Brothers of Sayre; son, Everett W. Brothers of Oklahoma City; her mother, Mrs. Ida Brown of Sayre; two grandchildren; and five brothers, Murl Brown of Lawton; Clyde Brown of Shawnee; Clifford Brown and W. W. Brown both of Cheyenne; and L .L. Brown of Boise City, Idaho.
Pallbearers were C. B. McWhorter, A. C. Campbell, Jack Criswell, Charles Campbell, Ben Olson and Leon Olson. Honorary Pallbearers were S. C. Spitzer and W. L. Martin.
Interment was in the Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel.
