We are saddened to relate the death of a friend and neighbor, G. Preston Brewer which occurred Saturday Morning, August 17, 1907.

Mr. Brewer was born August 7, 1831.

He accidentally fell and was severely wounded by a stick or snag which pierced his side and afterward caused his death.

He was 76 years of age and leaves a wife, three sons, several grandchildren, and a host of friends to mourn his loss.

Burial services took place at the Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills County where the body was interred.
