Ruby Wood Baker was born August 28, 1908 in Rankin, Oklahoma to Charity Parthenia and Ambrose F. Wood. She passed away August 3, 2003 in the Cheyenne Care Center, Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years, 11 months, and 5 days.

Ruby attended Blue Ridge School and was married to John Wesley Isch at Canadian, Texas on June 1, 1926 and they lived on their farm south of Reydon. Wesley passed away in 1955.
She married Hubert Ulan Baker on August 13, 1956 in Lovington, New Mexico. They returned to the Reydon community to live and Hubert passed away in 1967.
She moved into Reydon and in 1988 she married Don Baker and they continued to live in Reydon to make their home. Don passed away in 1992.
Ruby loved to sew and cook until her eyesight began to fail and she moved to Cheyenne in 1995.
She was a member of the Reydon Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands; three brothers, four sisters and one daughter, Luella.

Services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Reydon Church of Christ, officiated by Kendall Abner.
Burial will be at Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
Survivors include two daughters, Opal Irene Evans of Canadian, Texas and Elsie May Leonard of Reydon, Oklahoma; one son, Lester Eugene Isch of Reydon, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
