Graveside services for Faye Farni Burgess will be held Monday, December 22, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from the Barker Cemetery, Roger Mills County.
Burial will be under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City, Oklahoma.
Faye Vivian Burgess was born May 28, 1921 at Hammon to Charlie D. and Vivian Morrow Farni and died Thursday, December 18, 2003, at the age of 82.
After graduation from high school, she was married to Issac N. Burgess.
Faye retired as a telephone operator working in both Oklahoma and New Mexico.
She was baptized into the Church of Christ as a teenager.
Survivors include a stepson, Kim Burgess of St. Louis, Missouri; four sisters, Glee Smith of Colorado; Dixie Farni of Elk City; Joan Craft of Elk City; and Lei Lee of Elk City; and two brothers, Charles Farni of Hammon; and Kent Farni of Alaska.
