Ida May "Bobbie" (Cheevers) (Hohn) Bell

Ida May Bell, 84, of Moyers, OK passed from this life on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at her daughter's home in Pampa, TX. Heaven is rejoicing and the angels are singing now that she is home.

Ida was born on December 20, 1932 in Chama, NM to Jess and Leona Cheevers. She married James Oliver Bell at Hugo, OK. He preceded her in death after forty-nine years of a wonderful life together as longtime residents of Moyers, OK. She was a loving wife, beloved mother and a wonderful grandmother. She enjoyed her many hobbies such as sewing, making Raggedy Ann dolls, sock monkeys, tending to her flowers in her garden and cooking wonderful food. 

Others who have preceded her in death were her parents, Jess and Leona Cheevers; brothers, Alvin Cheevers, Richard Cheevers; 5 sons, Richard Lee Thomas Hohn, William Alfred Hohn, Bobby Hohn, Stephen W. Bell, James Jr. Bell; 2 daughters, Louise Hohn, Rosie Leona Burnett; grandson, Shawn Hohn and great-granddaughter, Aslyn Paige Ryan.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Keith Winkler of Pampa, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Bill Emond of Stockton, CA; son, Calvin Bell of Phoenix, AZ; daughter-in-law, Gabby Hohn of Wilburton, OK; daughter-in-law, Faye Bell of Windsor, CO; son-in-law, Mikel Burnett of Buffalo Valley, OK; sister, Marlene Wall of Council, ID; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Ruth Cheevers of Indian Valley, ID; sister-in-law, Donna Cheevers of Weister, ID. She has a lasting legacy in her eighteen grandchildren, forty- nine great-grandchildren and fourteen and a half great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her many relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Rocky Point Cemetery, Moyers, OK. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers.

Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Don Willis, Jeremy Winkler, Tanner Winkler, Eli Hohn, Mark Bell, William Kinch, Robert Kinch, Alford Nabors, Jarvis Nabors and Shawn Nabors.
