Jessie Odell Bush went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Antlers, Oklahoma at the age of 94. Jessie was born April 26, 1922 to Berry and Molly (Kuykendall) Wright in Eagletown, Oklahoma.

Jessie had been one of the original members of the Nolia Assembly of God and continued serving her Lord there until she was physically unable, but would always be a member of the church in her heart. To this day her family still attends church there. Jessie enjoyed spending her time on Little River fishing with her late husband James Bush before his passing in 2004. Jessie and James married September 18, 1971 in Hugo, Oklahoma and spent thirty-three wonderful years together. Jessie loved cooking for her family especially during the holidays when everyone got together. Her favorite thing to do though was to spend her time with her family and to watch her grandchildren grow up.

Jessie is preceded in death by her husband Odus Scarberry; parents Berry and Molly Wright; husband James Bush; three sisters and two brothers.

She leaves behind a loving family that includes her daughter Odell Bond; sons Ray Scarberry, Ronnie Scarberry, Leroy Scarberry, and John Scarberry; brother Conley Wright and wife Dorthy; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will include Ray Scarberry, John Pineknot Scarberry, Odus Scarberry, Kevin Scarberry, Ronnie Scarberry, and Leroy Scarberry.

Services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Nolia Assembly of God with Conley Wright and Larry Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Nolia Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service of Clayton.
